School Signatures

Using the Rutgers Visual Identity System, approved in 2006 by the Board of Governors, strengthens the university by presenting a consistent image to our audience and enables your unit to identify itself with Rutgers. Members of the university may use the signatures for schools and colleges, with or without the shield, available for download here, as long as the Rutgers Visual Identity System guidelines are followed.

  • Do not attempt to make a signature for your school, college, or unit. Signatures may only be created and distributed by University Communications and Marketing and may not be altered in any way.
  • Unit signatures for research centers, specialized units, and administrative offices are available by contacting us at
  • A licensed vendor must be used and artwork approved when including these signatures on promotional products, including banners, table throws, and apparel. A list of vendors can be found in Trademark Licensing.
