What I Do
Works collaboratively with university personnel across CLUs to tell the Rutgers story. Serves as a spokesperson to the local and national media, researching and developing messaging, responding to inquiries, and managing interviews. Media liaison for broadcast television shoots on location. Writes and develops content for Rutgers Today and university social channels. Project manager of Faces & Voices, a multi-platform video series that tells the university story through the faculty, students, staff, and alumni who make it a dynamic place of discovery.
Fun Fact
Developed the “Garden State Hardwood Classic” trophy, crafted from salvaged Asbury Park boardwalks planks, that is awarded annually to winner of the Rutgers-Seton Hall men’s basketball game. Created the “Big Daddy Kane” Memorial Golf Tournament, which benefits Holy Cross Preparatory Academy students through the Shawn Kane Memorial Scholarship.
