Carissa Sestito

 I help oversee media relations for universitywide matters and actively create and promote content that amplifies Rutgers as an institution of excellence using traditional and digital channels and methods. Among my responsibilities are creating and analyzing content and communications strategies for Rutgers Today and media pitching, developing material for the #DYKRutgers pride facts campaign, producing and promoting Rutgers Excellence content for our owned email channels, and managing the operation of the platforms we use to deliver our daily and special messaging to the university.

I enjoy playing chess, word puzzles, and guitar, and I’m comically bad at sports. I was in the same room with Bill Clinton once in 2005—he said, “Hello.”
